Ladies Competitive Team
Are you a retired competitive gymnast who misses the challenge and thrill of competition? A high
school age gymnast who just doesn’t have the time to devote to the sport that you used to? You love competing beam, floor and vault, but the thrill (and stamina) is gone when you train bars? Then the Acg Ladies Division Competitive team may be just what you’re looking for!!!!
This program is geared towards any athlete, high school age and older, who loves the sport of gymnastics and would still love to stay active in competition at a level that can be challenging yet easily maintained. Retired gymnasts, coaches who were gymnasts, athletes who are involved in several sports and cannot spend countless hours of training…. the ACG Ladies Competitive Team is what it’s all about!
NOTE: All-around competition is not required.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
There are no age requirements; however, a gymnast must be at least high school age to be eligible. Competitors may be equally divided into Older and younger gymnasts if numbers exceed 15 in a level. These division will be known as Division A (Older group); Division B (younger group).
PRACTICE DAYS/TIMES
(SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Tuesday and Thursday evenings
6:30-8:00
PRACTICE UNIFORM
Gymnast must wear a leotard or a form fitting tank. Any form fitting leg wear such as gym shorts, capri or ankle length work out pants.
TUITION
You must be on auto pay. Tuition is monthly with no make ups or refunds for missed classes. Auto pay is due the first of the month.

Due on or before September 30th
AAU MEMBERSHIP
You are responsible for attaining your AAU Membership #.
In the event you are planning on competing the current season you will
need to get your AAU # immediately.
COMPETITIVE UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
Gymnast must wear a leotard (tank style or sleeveless). Any length of stretchable, form fitting leg wear must to be worn over the leotard. (IE; “Biker-type wear; ankle length tights, etc.). Legwear must contour to the body-no shorts permitted.
WHERE DO ACG LADIES DIVISION ATHLETES COMPETE?
The ACG Competitive team competes in the AAU Team Florida Xcel program levels, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Ladies division meets are offered in the Spring Season only. Athletes can compete in a licensed AAU qualifier or invitational. In addition, Ladies division athletes do not have to qualify to the AAU State championship, they can directly enter. This is the same with the AAU National Championship.
