We have reopened ACG following the CDC preventative guidelines. This includes structured cleaning and social distancing for all staff and gymnastics participants. Additionally, while the gym was closed, we had Ecovasive North Florida Infection Control treat the facility and will have another treatment done prior to reopening.
Please be advised that there may be schedule changes, new requirements, and policies as we all do our best to navigate this "new norm"
.) If anyone in your household has been on any airplane, cruise, or traveling to an area the CDC lists as dangerous, we are asking that you not participate.
.) If anyone in your house is sick, has a fever, sore throat, etc… you may not participate. We will be doing fever checks upon arrival; temperatures over 100.4 will not be permitted to participate.
.) If you are immune compromised, have any underlying health conditions, we are asking that you not participate.
.) Gymnasts are required to practice safe personal hygiene daily. (Shower between practices and come into the gym with a fresh clean leotard or workout clothes.)
.) We recommend drop off/pick up only. If you are unable to do so, please have only one visitor during your child’s practice as we are trying to limit the number of people in the gym at a time; no siblings will be permitted. There will be no chairs available for spectators and taped indicators on the floor to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Upon entering the facility, temperature must read less than 100.4.
.) We are going to require all gymnasts to use the hand sanitizer stations prior to and after their workout.
.) Please ensure your athlete brings a water bottle since the water fountains have been disabled. Water is also available for purchase at Snack Shack for $1.00.
.) Please bring only essential items you will need for gymnastics.
.) All recreational classes will run 50 minutes instead of an hour so we will have limited numbers going in and out of the gym and coaches will have time to disinfect equipment/ door handles and high traffic areas between classes.
.) All gymnasts will need to be picked up promptly after each class; it is imperative that we have 10 minute window to properly prepare for the next class.
